４月７日ロックの殿堂入りのセレモニーが行われニール・ショーン、スティープ・ペリー、ジョナサン・ケイン、ロス・バロリー、スティーブ・スミス、グレッグ・ローリー、エインズレー・ダンバーがステージに上がりそれぞれ挨拶しました。その後 「Separate Ways」 「Lights」 「Don’t Stop Believin」を演奏しました。
残念ながらペリーさんは演奏に参加しませんでしたが「Lights」ではグレッグとエインズレーが演奏しました。
ペリーさんが挨拶する前の歓声がとにかく大きく胸が熱くなりました。Periscopeで途絶え途絶えする中継を見ていたんですけどリアルタイムでこの瞬間を共有できるなんて。。。とにかく幸せな時間でした。
アーネルくんも憧れのヒーローであるペリーさんに挨拶できたようでtwitterのその時の写真をアップしていました。よかったねあアーネル！歌も最高だったよ。
